Ayahuasca Yage Santo Daime

The university is build on solid grounds of faith and wisdom. We have faith because we trust and believe in a higher power, God. If you have a strong faith, understanding that we are children of God, and that we are conduits of light, we receive wisdom. Wisdom, that let us understand better our surroundings, and our lives allowing us to make conscious decisions rooted in love and protected by the Holy Spirit.

Santo Daime and Daime

Santo Daime is a plant medicine, also known as Ayahuasca, used traditionally in the Peruvian and Brazilian Amazon basin in Daime Rituals.

Santo Daime is a sacramental tea made from two plants, a leaf and a vine, that facilitates deeper self-knowledge, multi-leveled healing, transformation of consciousness, and a connection to the Divine.

Daime is a ritual gathering in a sacred setting, using Ayahuasca as plan medicine, where hymns, or hinarios are sing, dance and played to guide the ceremony.

Founded by Raimundo Irineu Serra

Mestre Irineu, or Master Irineu, was a rubber tapper and border guard in the Northeast of Brazil, as well as a member of the spiritist tradition in Brazil. When we consume Ayahuasca, something miracle happened. A guy that didn’t how to read, started composing spiritual songs and created a religion that is practiced around the world.

Through inner experience with the tea, and Divine revelation in the Forest, he received and developed the forms and rituals that are now the foundation of the work that is done all over the world. The Daime religion is recognized in various parts of the world, including the United States.

The Daime now exists all over the world in different communities, and in varying expressions, that have spread and grown from that first small group in Acre with Mestre Raimundo Irineu Serra.

Colombian Yage

In Colombia, Ayahuasca is known as Yage. The founders have travel Colombia and Peru, experimenting, preparing and connecting to the Taitas. They have found a preparation that brings joy, and found Taitas that are well connected to music and emanate bliss and healing, grounded by strong faith with the creator.

ParchesU recommended approach is to use medicines with music. Because under medicine, your senses widen, your body moves in harmony with the music, you sing more in tune, etc. Connecting through music, calibrates your energy field, and allow you to let go emotions that might be stuck in your body.

The traditional Daime songs are based on the catholic faith. The university follows the Daime essence ceremony by using Earth Medicines and engaging in singing. We sing catholic hymns, as well as, sacred songs, chants, and medicine songs from around the world.

One very important aspect of connecting with Ayahuasca is the understanding that she is here to open human consciousness, and that we as custodians of this sacred plan need to plant her, take care of her growing around the world with sustainable and harmonious practices. Ayahuasca is of the World. This manifesto captures her essence vey well.
