Kogui Living at the Tayrona Park

The Koguis, is one of the tribes that protect la Sierra Nevada in Colombia. They are the custodians of the heart of the womb of Pachamama. Connecting to them allows you to connect to your own heart.

We will be with a Kogui family for 2 days, sharing their customs, and way of living. Their spiritual and practical teachings are aim to expand our consciousness. The practical teachings allows to understand flowing in our daily lives, our connection to the elements, sovereignty, and living in harmony with Pachamama.

The Kogui family is located in the Tayrona Park, in la Sierra Nevada, and it is well known for the sacred sites and the preservation of indigenous culture. The location is closed to the castle, main center hub of the university.

The following activities are included in this sacred experience:

Learning about Jayo (Coca leave). We will pick the leave, learn the secrets of chewing it, understand its medicinal uses, and immerse in the sacred stories behind this sacred plant from South America.

Learning about Mochila Weaving. We will observe all the process, from seeding the plant to the secrets of weaving a mandala of sacred geometry. The Mochila is a sacred symbol for the womb of Pachamama.

Every participant will have the opportunity to have one to one conversation with a Mamo, the elder of the tribe. Mamos are spiritual leaders that guide, because of their intuition and holy connection, lives of many.
