Esperanza and Luis embarked on a Journey to meet one of the most sacred and ancient tribes in Colombia the Kaamash-Hu, at Pueblo Santo in the Tubara region, Atlantic Coast of Colombia. Very grateful for Alvaro to show us the way to his sacred priesthood.
Their cosmology, similar to other tribes refer to supreme beings (God, the Sun) that is the creator. Their medicine is cacao and hongos, and we were honored to share with them an amazing ceremony night dancing and singing with these two sacred essences.
Pueblo Santo is also a place for gatherings of different ancestral medicines and taitas of all over Colombia come to share their medicines and wisdom.
They perform the Kununtu Ritual, ancient ritual that allow us to connect with the energies of Pachamama, and understand our own destiny.
